A Happy and Healthy 2024 to all at WNFF, and the Nationals.

“Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.” '  (Minnie Haskins)

happy new year to WNFF. Let's hope for more interesting Nats developments - maybe a sale, maybe some nice rookie debuts, Meneses generating power again, further progress for some of the potential future pieces, and a positive finish to Corbin's time with the Nats.

On the contrary, it is Homo Sapiens ability to conceptulize time which is our greatest intellectual achievement, far more than the use of tools or the development of language. Without it, none of the other conceptual leaps, which have brought knowledge to where we are today, could have happened. Therefore, we do not celebrate the new year of itself, but celebrate that the Ancients could not only conceptulize time, but also measure and identify changes in its cycle.
