It was even worse when he brought him out to pitch to Tejada-Berkman-Lee in the 9th.

That's the part that gets me. Sure, the game was tied in the 8th. But Beimel narrowly avoided carnage. Why in the world is he back out there for the 9th? Shows you how Manny feels about his other options in the pen :?

Yet you'd DFA him first?

Wait until he actually starts giving up runs before we send him out.

They all suck. Klej is 5/5 in saves, Manny is just worse with relief pitchers than Frank Robinson.

On a happier note, over 40 posts on the first night. Not bad  :icon_mrgreen:

It was nice to chat about the Nats with fellow fans for once.
Keep that up and you'll catch up to sportsfan's 39000+ posts

So did we lose yet? And whose fault was it this time?

The Nats bullpen already has 30 losses this season.

The pen has 13 more losses than any other bullpen in baseball which is just crazy to think about considering we have only played 85 games.

This has to be the worst year for a bullpen of all time. We lead the league by far in bullpen losses and blown saves.

Knight is ripping Manny again for taking Bergmann out. he is going on a long rant about it.

I agree with Ray. Bergmann had something special out there tonight.

I vote:

1. Manny
2. Macdougal
3. Manny
4. Beimel
5. Pat Listach

Honorable Mention: Manny

I think Acta says stuff just to piss people off. He can't really believe the crap that he spews.

Said that our two top guys in the pen just didn't get it done and that they will fail every now and then. :?

he is a Minor League manager. Debbi just feeds into his hand by asking him these wussy ass questions like "your team just never gives up.. how do you feel about that 4 run comeback?"

Acta is a loser plain and simple.

Knight just said he would have already committed suicide if he was the manager.

I love our TV guys.

debbi shouldn't be allowed to ask questions to manny. SHE WORKS FOR THE darn TEAM

all she does is softball and pad manny's ego.

acta would be a great minor league manager. it's just too bad we're following a major league team.

yeah Acta would be fine in the Minors where winning is secondary to player development. That is where it is actually expected that the manager be patient to an extent because the guys are still learning.

that isn't the case in the Majors though. you must try to win at all costs. winning is everything.

Debbi makes me sick.
