It depends on your definition of sport. It's certainly loads more athletic than bowling, golf, NASCAR and some would say baseball. The difference is the outcomes are predetermined.
Nobody ever went to jail for fixing a wrestling match. Hell you don't see stories about disgraced wrestling refs.
