*awaits excuses/spin*

i didn't say the 5th inning was a good inning.  i said he pretty pretty well in the first four innings - considering what we have seen in the first two games.  but then back to reality.

this site is running slow as hell. awful.

just like this stupid ass team. i never felt this bad about them last year even when they lost 102 games. it's a waste of freaking time following this team.

why did Manny PH with Bard instead of Flores? And why use Belliard?

this team is so unclutch it's not even remotely funny. makes me sick.

Bard's a lefty. Flores is on his day off.

he pinch hits bard so that they can try to make a decision on nieves/bard, and he used belliard because he's his boy

Bard up with 2-0 count and bases loaded and he swings at the next pitch. incredible.

 but Bard can't hit. Flores is hot. He probably would have came through for us because he is so money with runners on base.

Completely unnecessary moves by Manny. Bases loaded with one out and Manny opts for back to back pinch hitters, removing solid defenders for no reason. Why switch for Harris when you know Florida will answer with a switch? I'd let the guys who were already swinging take their chances over the pinch hitters. And Belliard goes up looking for a HR instead of just looking for a pitch he can do something with.

booo. you suck Cabrera. it's sad when giving up 5 runs in 6 innings is by far our best start so far this year.

I can't watch this anymore. I'm hoping my daughter poops so I can go change her diaper. That is more entertaining than this.

I agree, but managers don't usually bring catchers in after they've been given the day off. Especially when they have another catcher on the bench.

tomorrow's another day-off. we should be guns blazing out there. go for the win today at any cost.
