Which is still below where a leadoff hitter should be, but it's close and trending the right direction.

It's a terrible OBP.

Nice job by Livo to limit the damage.

.286 (May) and .290 (June) were terrible.  .350 is an acceptable OBP from the leadoff spot though .400 is more of what you would want.  If Nyjer somehow gets back to the .360-.370 range, and cuts down on the CS, then he's fine as the leadoff man.

I like Riggleman too.

Nyger has been excellent lately.

Atilano put on the DL with bone chips in his right elbow.

I've said it twice.

Adding in today's game, his JULY OBP is .338.

Agreed. I just don't see that happening.

Sorry, thought that was his current OBP not his OBP for July

Nyger has been excellent lately.

There's a difference between a resurgence that bring someone back to acceptable production and being excellent.  Nyjer's July numbers are close to being good again, they are in no way excellent.

More runs!  Don't think six runs will win this game.

List created primarily in 2005, places that supported us when MASN wouldn't make a cable tv deal:

thanks n2p for the Willie Harris pic.

Thanks Ed.  I'm going out in the waterfront tomorrow night, but wanted to find a place to meet up with some friends to watch the Nats game.  And not one of those places where you have to ask to put the game on, but a spot where there is a lot of Nats fans glued to the TV.

You do realize this is exactly the kind of start that Fangraphs loves, right?  Economy of pitches, excellent control, favorable K/BB rate.

You don't say.

They're crying because it's Livo that is pulling it off.

Yea, most guys aren't watching the Nats at The Palace.  Some other distractions there.
