That was a very unexpected drama free ninth inning for both teams

I think Stras goes 8 tomorrow and think about the confidence our hitters have after tonight.

Going to be a challenge.  Not sure if Hudson is available after so many pitches.
We won today didn't we..

Hopefully Stras can give them 7. Probably will see Rodney.

They HAD to win this one.
Win or lose, this was an epic game.  This is NOT the same team we were watching in April and May.

Been battling some sort of stomach bug the past two days, so didn't cook steak tonight.  However, I did eat a can of this earlier today:

Nobody has pointed this out but Soto' s stance is like another lefty - Stan Musial.

Phew. Started watching on the plane as I left Denver and caught the last inning at home. It made for a stressful trip. Max wasn’t sharp but it’s a :w:

Can't always have quantity and quality both.  We'll take quality -- that's what Max gave us.

Didn't Musial have a more upright stance?    They both load up on that back leg though when they swing.

Not enough beef in there to make a difference for the team.

It's mostly potatoes.  That's how they make their margins.

Seven would be good.  Eight would give us an excellent chance to win.  (If we go 2-0 in Houston, I'll be even more delirious than I've ever been so far this post season).

Zimmerman just to get the Nats on the board was the turning point. And Scherzer has big brass ones. Good night.
