Brock outrunning Lamar today wasn't something I expected to see.

Lions needed perfection to win this game, they had it for 30 minutes. SF is just a better team.

This super bowl is going to be something. I don't see KC beating SF.

And this is why the Rams traded for Stafford

Guerrilla marketing at it's finest: After today's AFC title game American Airlines announced a direct flight from KC to LAS: #1989. And, from LAS to KC: #87

1989 is a Taylor Swift album
Kelce is #87

This was just painful to watch. I don't have much love for Detroit sports, but not only was watching the Lions piss away a 17 point lead painful for the usual reasons, it was extra painful because I know I'd have made some of the same controversial choices as Dan Campbell. Teams DO go for it on 4th less than they should. If you're an underdog on the road, you SHOULD be aggressive and take risks. You SHOULD try to keep control and run the clock. You SHOULD bet it all on individual plays. It's like Brock Prudy was running all over ME when those things didn't work.

Dan Campbell did the smart football things and it backfired horribly.

If you were going to go for it, why run on 3rd down and burn a timeout?

Campbell is never going to hear the end of the decisions to go for it on 4th twice.

And Ben Johnson heads to DC (well, Sterling).

SB will come down to how Purdy handles the Chiefs defense. Jackson was great - until he came up against The Red Wall. 49'ers haven't faced them, either... ;)

I thought the real crippler was the fumble in the 3rd q on the run right after the 49ers pulled within 7. That set up the tying score and moved the 2nd half from trading drives and scores to big 49ers momentum.

Hope your Chiefs can pull it off.

A lot of NFL fans seem to hate them for no particularly good reason, so the idea of them pissing off so many people just by winning another Super Bowl warms my cold, dark little misanthropic heart.

People always seem to knock success. Ironic, really, when we remember those decades of Chiefs mediocrity... ;)

The whole Swift-Kelce dynamic has been highly politicized. Aside from that, the Chiefs are getting the same heat that any dynasty receives. They are on a run not seen since the Patriots of the early 2010s.

I will admit I rooted for KC to win yesterday, simply because I enjoy watching Mahomes do Mahomes things, especially in clutch games/situations. He's the greatest I've ever seen play the game.

I rooted for Detroit as well. :(

The Niners are a super-team, as great as Mahomes is, I don't see KC beating SF.

Andy is more likeable than Belichek.  Mahomes more likable than Brady.  Kelce not as fun as Gronk.  Or his brother.
