Kobernus' bat hasn't been anything to write home about (~.650 OPS) but he has 22 SBs in 25 attempts.

We need a Follow the Prospects: Rick Hague thread.  PANATs and houstonat have been playing after you alphonse and it hasn't been done.  Who is Hague's #1 fanboy?

Where would he play?  Has he ever played in the OF?

Of course I guess that doesn't matter anyway.  See:  Bixler, Brian. :?

Another hit so now he's 2 for 3 and no, according to baseball-reference.com, he's only played 2nd and 3rd.

He has to be a better option than bixler.

Whos this Wilmer Difo kid in the Dominican? 19, but through 6 games, he has 6 steals(1cs), 2 3b, is hitting .333 but most importantly, has 8 walks! An 8/4 BB/K ratio. You don't see that too often in Dominican prospects. Of course, Eury Perez's walk rate was much better back home that it has been since he's come state side, but it's still a positive sign.

Detwiler is starting tonight.  I want to see what he does with Stammen called up and Maya being Maya.

There's a place for you Ross!

right on cue, he's heating up ...

.324 AVG in last 10 games with 4 extra base hits, 4 rbi's and a .359 OBP and .459 SLG.

Chris Marrero hit a grand slam.  2-for-4, 5 RBIs on the day ... now has 6 homers and 27 rbi's on the year.

but yeah he's not ready

oh and matt antonelli has another hit, hitting .383 on the season.  yeah, let's keep bixler and stairs on the team still.

I worry his strike zone judgement will eventually catch up to him... but damn if his power isn't impressive!

I'm excited about Moore, but Marrero has had an impressive year himself.

Not saying you are included in this group, but a lot of people are all ready to write him off and the dude is just 22 years old.  I still think Marrero can be a MLB ballplayer.

Marrero hit a grand slam to start this morning's game, he was at the plate last night when the game was suspended with the bases loaded!

Also, call up Antonelli! .383!
