ugh.. there goes all momentum we gained last inning.  I'm sick of Abreu, he's not a MLB-caliber pitcher.  Hopefully when Ayala comes back in the next few weeks, we send him back down.

I wonder if the Orioles TV team ever mentions the Nats being on MASN or MASN2 during their games?  anybody ever see that?

What is with this ump all of a sudden - these pitches look great from the batter's eye ...

Watch every game either via TV or actually going to the game.  I had went upstairs to eat dinner and then I came back down to see that Lopez had grounded into a DP according to Sportsline. Regardless of how hard he hit it, it was still a devastating DP nonetheless.

it was a hard hit ball down the third base line that their 3b made a zimmerman esque play on....

If there's anyone on this planet whom I hate more than Khalil "Jeff Spicoli" Greene, I honestly cannot think of it at this time.

Why is Abreu still playing for this team?

ugh.. Looks like we are going to have to live with more Speigner until one of the big 3 come back because Hanrahan is either not ready or not capable.
Hanrahan started tonight for Columbus:
3.2 IP 4 H 5 R 3 ER 4 BB 4 SO 3 HR

3-run double seals it.  By their #8 hitter, the catcher, who had 7 RBIs prior to tonight.

Padres 9
Nationals Disgrace 3

Wow, that blows. After cutting the lead in half, we go right back to being down 6.

What about making Colome or even Traber a starter? I doubt they'd put Speigner back out there ... whatever little confidence he had has got to be shot by now

That kinda annoys me. How can a pitcher give up 3 runs then come right back and get the next to batters out easily. It's really aggravating.

This game has been like root canal ... 6 runs in the first inning that should have been 0 - a killer DP that could have plated maybe 1 or 2 more runs in the 6th ... then BAM - three more runs for the friars in the top of the 7th - just when we started to get things going ... and now the hulking giants relievers from the pads pen ... horrible ...

Church is so inconsistent, it's beginning to get ridiculous.  What happened to all of those extra base hits he hit in April?  Regardless, he is still better than both Lopez and Kearns, who are consistent.. consistently bad.

I still can't get over how many RBIs Schneider has for his average.  I would pick him up for the forum fantasy league in a heartbeat if somebody else didn't already have him.
