Huntley having a night.
Normally, my hatred for the Ravens would give me complete joy at the result, but I do feel a bit bad that it was Huntley who fumbled. would rather it was one of their regulars, or better yet, a stupid penalty that gifts a score to the Kitties.
The jealousy for a team that makes the playoffs every year makes me smile.
actually. my attitude is more humane than that. I make it a point not to hate other teams except for the Ravens. Not division rivals, not teams we lost to in the Super Bowl, not generally the interconference teams we'd meet in the playoffs like the Colts, Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, etc... Ravens are the Wagner Group of the NFL. They even had their biggest star be a guy who got out of jail for murder. Notorious cheap shot artists like Pollard. So I focus my hate on one team, and wish all other teams to be healthy and play their best.
This is pretty funny coming from a team that had Belichek and Brady and Aaron Hernandez.
Well, I could sit and argue the Ballghazi all day, but as for Aaron, yes, I guess that makes the score 1 to 1 with Ray Lewis. Only thing is, with HErnandez, the team left fans swap out their jerseys and merchandise for other team stuff when it came out he murdered somebody. As for Ray, he's still worshiped.
Bucs had no business even being in the playoffs. Sucks that the Lions had to miss the playoffs for that crap.
I'd like to see a hard and fast rule that no sub-.500 division winner makes the playoffs if there's a team with a better record in the conference. I'd even think about saying regardless of conference, and same would go for WC. I thought it would have been a travesty had the Pats snuck into the playoffs at 8-9 and was rooting for Pittsburgh, tbh. Miami ended up winning to make that moot, and gave a good game. I think Pittsburgh playing in the NFC as the 7 seed (not 4) would have been an interesting twist.
I think you are essentially talking about what the NBA does. They still have the divisions but they don’t mean anything for the playoffs or seedings.
