This is one of the worst pitching performances of the season, challenging Chad's performance from two nights ago.

This is the worst pitching performance of the season and Manny just refuses to take him out.  Worst decision of the year to leave him out here despite this embarrassing performance.

And 2 more runs score!!  Manny is a worthless piece of **** for leaving Joel out there.  There is no doubt about it, Manny conceded this game and that's unacceptable in the Majors.

Manny might have to be fired after this.... This is disgusting.  I'm not joking either, Manny has to go if he is going to continue managing this team like this

Now it's more an embarrassing loss than a bad loss.

How 'bout it Nats? Want to give up 21 more and join the O's in the Hall of Shame?  Too bad the Rox only will bat in 8 innings today.

The decision to stay with Cordero at closer makes a lot of sense now

On a positive note, the Dodgers have to play tonight, fly cross-country from New York and play us in LA tomorrow.  We could steal one Monday.

We are going to lose every game on the rest of this roadtrip... Even Rivera is freaking terrible

The Rangers' 30 is definitely in danger.

I think that Flores catching has something to do with our pitchers sucking ass.  I guess he's not ready for the Bigs just yet.  He should play in AAA next season.

We are facing the Dodgers' top 3 starters...I wouldn't be surprised.

:hang: not the type of game I would like reveal my new signature, but at least Z-Man hit his 21st.

Trivia:  The Rangers didn't score a run until the 4th inning that game.  The Rox have 9 in 3.

There have been plenty of games with 9 runs in 3 innings. Just one, though, in the last 100 and some odd years with 30+ in a game.

Detroit's 15 is the most we've given up and, assuming the Rockies keep trying to score, that's definitely going to fall.

This suck fest series was caused by Chad Cordero, no doubt about it. That loss was the definition of demoralizing and we just couldn't regroup.

I completely agree.  Everyone says that game was just 1 loss but in reality it caused us to lose all 3 games in this series.  Those type of losses send teams into prolonged losing streaks.  Just look at our crappy offense, 1 run in 4 innings against Elmer Dessens, who has an ERA over 6, the guys aren't even trying.

Games like this, I almost have to blame Manny and the coaches, in addition to the players. This team is completely not prepared to play today.  Did they do any scouting of Dessens?  Did they watch any film of him pitching?  Did they have a strategy for beating this very bad pitcher?

I can't let the manager and coaches completely off the hook, here.
