I really only ever drink Yuengling. Once I find something I like I tend to stick with it.
You should live in PA then. They just call it "lager."
House beer here. But I don't mind variety, especially if someone else is buying.
I call it "pisswater".
Name a beer you consider superior and I will give it a shot and return with my opinion on your sleight
if you want a better 'lager' try Brooklyn LagerYuengling is an ok beer and great in comparison to bud and and miller, but nothing special. Then again I had a roommate in college who insisted that Rolling Rock was the best beer made- to each their own
Dominion lager would be an easy get.
but they have credibility.
Their whole trying to claim the entire category of Lager, i.e. "order a Lager and you'll get a Yuengling" kills any credibility for me. As far as Inbev goes- I love Murphy's Stout and could care less that its part of a mega corporation.
They didn't make that up. That's been true for years for a few, small, sparsely populated counties in Pennsylvania, and the commercial is new.
I don't know about everywhere else, but here Yuengling is super cheap too. Cheaper than Bud, Miller, or Coors. Only slightly more than the skunk pee beers like Busch, Old Milwaukee, and Millwaukee's Best.
Would Brooklyn Lager be available in VA bars?
Brooklyn Lager is on tap at Hard Times in Clarendon
Shiner Bock
The only Yuengling I like is Black and Tan. For some reason it just goes down so nice.
