So if I owned Living Social and starting at 11:20 I get paid 5.36 for every rider entering Metro and at 11:10 I see a large crowd heading down Half Street I'm going to create some kind of disturbance to slow everyone up for the next ten minutes.
living social only needs 5,504 fans to ride the metro after each game to recoup its deposit. over 5,000 people rode the metro home after each of the two madonna concerts this week. i would think that over 10,000 people use the metro after a sold out nats game. 10 minutes won't make any difference. i expect the net loss for living social will be very small when it's all said and done...which, i think, makes this even more embarrassing for the nats.
