Rodriguez threw 100 pitches today. 50 of them were strikes. It’s a damn shame Davey didn’t see that implosion coming in the 5th inning. Cost the Nats a ballgame.

I hate agreeing with Slate even in the slightest, but the games don’t matter anymore. That being said, that doesn’t mean the Dave should throw what little baseball knowledge he has to the wind. They still owe us something marginally competitive.

Because it's hard to imagine it getting worse? :D

That Nats might collectively say "Hold my beer."

What a stinker of a game.    We were hangin' near the misters in the Red Loft watchin' the ladies.    We were winnin' the game.      Messed around and walked back to our seats via the long way.    We got back to our seats in time to see the grand slam.      Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste

Did you ride a bicycle to the game?

I was tempted to ride my bike to the yesterday's game. Then, the rain happened.

Bikes are pretty cool.    Those folks on scooters on the sidewalk are gonna create an "incident".

Not going to lie, I really like those scooters. They make getting around easier, especially when I don't feel like locking up my bike or taking the metro.

I hope you're more considerate than the idiots on "M" ST today.

I try to be: Letting people know I'm coming up behind them, trying not to weave too much through people, using the bike lanes when the sidewalks are jammed with people.

What happened on M Street?

Walkin' from Lot W on the south side of "M" and 3 or 4 guys weaved in and out of pedestrians headin' toward the Park.     I actually felt 'em go by.      There was no "on your left", etc.

People on scooters behaving like complete jerks?  I don't believe it.

A simple push knocks the bike to the ground

It crossed my mind.    I thought about the old left arm out trick.    :)

Yeah, and then you're potentially dealing with an angry scooter/bike rider, who'll probably get in your face and, at that point, it could be fight or flight.
