The Nats are NO LONGER the worst team in baseball.

Cleveland is 11-20.

Washington is 10-18.

Guzman, too. He needs to field that ball and get the easy DP. That pissed me off more than any of the walks.

I know this isn't breaking news but with this bullpen we have no shot at climbing out of the hole we're in.

QFT

Enjoy this spurt of luck while it lasts. It'll be gone as soon as we play a real MLB team unless the bullpen gets overhauled.

Rizzo pisses me off. Doesn't he realize what we have going here? Get us some god damn freaking relievers and we march our way back to .500.

How many did Arizona leave on base?  16?  That's just a frightening number.

How about Johnny Lannan? 2nd straight victory and he has lowered his ERA to 3.89. :pimp:

Zimmerman was awesome tonight. I don't care if he only had one hit.

Not only that but he has been talking about how awful the DBacks hitters are so his won words suggest he was just going up against a poop lineup.

Yes. Those walks were particularly impressive. He's a regular Chad Cordero without the K's.

Since relievers grow on trees I'm sure we should be able to revamp our bullpen in the next couple of days.  :?

So true. Good teams will kill this pen. We are just lucky to be playing the worst offense in baseball in the Dbacks.

Not to worry. In a week or so we can look forward to Mike MacDougal closing for us.

who gives a freak? 6 scoreless innings is 6 scoreless innings. Everyone dogged him and said he was a 4.50-5.00 pitcher. those are the ones I am laughing at.

joy. he made a scoreless debut for Cuse tonight so I'm sure he is on his way while Rizzo completely ignores Clippard and Bergmann who have been putting up stellar numbers all season.

I don't know why him and Acta think that a bullpen full of washed up veterans is a good idea.

GTFOHWTBS.

Lannan walked SIX BATTERS. if it were Cabrera you'd be all over his ass about it, even if he didn't give up any runs.

shut the freak up with this crap.

Nats > D-Backs. damn, the D-Backs are DREADFUL.

Zimmerman > every 3b in baseball. just when you thought the streak might be coming to an end, Zimm hits a jack in the 8th! as always, he was a human vacuum at 3b. BEST IN THE BUSINESS.
