Good point.

Letting Ron and del rio leave with dignity is not reading the fanbase well. Harris bought a team that had gone through the whole cycle of hemorrhaging fans, to fans hating the team, to apathetic fans. He has a window to get those fans back, and keeping Synder’s gang in place is not a good way to go about it

Rivera should be fired just for his play calling today.  He went for it on 4&1 deep in Dallas end with over 12 minutes left in the 4th and only down by two scores. A desperate move by someone who is trying to keep his job.

I thought that was the right call.  They never got close to that spot again.  Bad play call though as Romo noted. Once they went shotgun Dallas knew it would be a pass.  Doesn’t Bienemy make the play calls?  In any case they were just overwhelmed by a better team.  While coaching staff needs to go after the season.

They have a long week now. If Harris wanted to throw the fans a bone, he'd fire Ron and Del Rio this morning.

A couple series previously they failed on a 4&1. They were only 2 scores down. Plenty of time left.

Every coach in the league would go for it there.  The book they use tells them that. Decent chance a punt nets them only 20 yards and Dallas was going up and down the field.  It’s all irrelevant anyway. They were crushed.

Of course, for the Redskins it’s three years longer. But Redskin fans don’t start every season convinced that they’ll steamroll everyone else to win the Super Bowl.

Del Rio is the first fall guy. I guess our defensive minded head coach who plays no role in the offense is not responsible for the defense either.

Don’t look now but tied with the Giants and Bears for 4th worst record in the league.  High draft pick on the way!  Rivera playing 4D chess.

Hopefully there is someone competent to make it.

Keep Rivera to finish the season. Tank it out.

And compare Tua Tag with the guy that Rivera drafted instead, and with the 'Skins' current QB.

Thank god they fired their DB coach. It seems to have really reinvigorated them

The hand-over pick six goes down as my play of the season, so far - redolent of the mid 80's Chiefs... :D   ;)

Fourth from the bottom at 4-9. However four teams chasing them at 4-8.  Quite the race.

Cardinals coming through with a win over the Stillers was key from a Pats perspective. The 2-10 train keeps chugging along.

fair to say that this is the worst season in team history given the optimism over Howell and the new ownership going into the season?

I wouldn't call it the worst because at least we know Snyder is gone and Harris is going to clean house in the offseason. The only way it can really compete for worst is if they announce a Rivera extension

New ownership didn’t select any of the guys running or coaching the team. This is probably the best case as it gives them the mandate to clean house. I don’t know if it will work but you need to give it a few years.

9% ticket price increase for next year announced. Seems odd to announce now, I would have preferred after the 49ers try to set scoring records against them
