Google Music works fine for me for as little as I use it.  I mostly use it to play via browser at work or when I go on vacation.  I see zero reason to bother with it on my phone when I can fit most of my music on the phone itself.

I have unlimited 3G. I formerly use dit to change what songs I have on there and to sync since I have unlimited 3G, but it tends to just delete all my songs on there.

I do...

but Schemer kinda sucks. It just doesn't seem to have a real purpose.

Hmm... I got the impression from lifehacker it worked better than 43 Things for social goals. I was thinking of trying to set it up to use it to plan out collective travels and other ideas that get bounced around with extended friends. Haven't see it myself but it seemed viable from the article I read. Although the guy was just look for peer pressure not collaboration.

anyone else terrified?

Quote
Mentioned on Google’s official Google+ account recently, the development team behind the company’s self-driving automobile showed off a YouTube video detailing the journey of Steve Mahan. Mahan, CEO of the Santa Clara Valley Blind Center, is a legally blind resident of Morgan Hill, California. Since Google employees have tested the self-driving Toyota Prius for more than 200,000 miles, company officials felt confident of Mahan’s safety during an outing to a fast food restaurant as well as a stop to pick up some dry cleaning. The self-driving car did make headlines during August 2011 when the vehicle rear-ended another Prius, but that accident was attributed to human error. The computer-operated vehicle took Mahan through the drive-through at Taco Bell using technology like radar sensors and video cameras equipped on the vehicle.

I like the idea of Google Drive but I don't know that I'd ever actually use it.  I don't use any sync services aside from gmail/contacts on my Android, and Gmail itself is sufficient for most of my "cloud storage" purposes.

So no longer a way to revert to GMail's old look?

New look sucks. Get off my lawn.

Ha, I guess it's a good thing I'd finally gotten used to seeing the new look and switched of my own volition last week.

I've still got the revert button. As long as "display density" is set to "compact," though, the difference isn't jarring to me.

The "biggerness" of everything is primarily what I disliked about it when they first rolled it out, but now...  I dunno...  maybe it's just the abundance of tablets, smartphones, and metro themes, but I actually prefer the biggerness now.  Makes buttons easier to hit and less strain on the eyes.
