I doubt Taylor will ever be a good pinch hitter.

FTFY.

Or at least second and third with only one out.

Terrible. I mean how can they justify that reversal of the call on the field. There was nothing seen in the replay that indicates a clear tag was made.

It is a given that replay will screw the Nationals in Philadelphia.

Probably some death threats from Phillies fans at work here... no way can you conclusively say Ruf tagged him.

I really wish MLB publicized which umpires are in the replay office each day. The field umps for each game are always announced and it should be no different for the replay umps. It's almost like MLB is trying to protect them by keeping them anonymous.

As usual a DC sports team is hosed by officiating.

Its okay, Harps will come through here to give us the lead.

I used to think replay was a good idea, but I've seen so many incomprehensible calls on replay that I've changed my mind.  Let the umps call the game on the field.

They should also have to show the video clip they used to overturn the call.  The way they do it now, there is no public oversight.

What do you think this is - a congressional hearing on C-Span ?

The Phillies manager knows he has the umpires on his side, so he's not nervous, at all, FP.
