If they wanted to call Milledge up, wouldn't they have to do that tomorrow for him to make the game on Friday?  I don't see him getting recalled until after the Dodgers.

eh, clipps play @ noon tomorrow.  He flies out tomorrow after the game and is in LA in plenty of time to booze it up with me and friends thursday.  Kidding aside, he could make it in time for Friday night's game.  Of course it depends on how he does.

Predict how many he'll end up with.

I say 65.

That sounds about right. He hasn't hit the DL yet. Otherwise, I'd go w/ about 80.

I didn't know Clippers were playing at noon tomorrow.  I wonder if it will be a on-the-spot decision tomorrow after Milledge plays.

haha eagle i love that pic.

Sutton is really sticking up for Bally right now.  Saying how he would love to see the Nats get a lead and Bally throw another inning.  I mean he only has thrown 74 pitches and the 6th/7th/8th hitters are coming up.

What would you do?

Yeah, he'll probably end up with around 10 HRs and 60-70 RBIs. Not bad considering how few ABs he has had compared to most starting catchers.

I say high end 70.  What amazed me today, was to see that Hamilton has 98 and Howard has 88 RBIs, unreal numbers when you compare it to our "team" leaders.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Nationals manager Manny Acta hasn't ruled out outfielder Lastings Milledge rejoining the team this weekend against the Dodgers.
Milledge, who has been on the disabled list since June 28 because of a right groin strain, was promoted to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday after playing two games for Rookie-level Gulf Coast. Milledge was 1-for-4 with a home run for the GC Nationals and was 1-for-8 for the Clippers.

"He is doing well with no limitations," Acta said. "He will be here sooner rather than later."

Once he returns, Milledge will return to his center-field spot, while Willie Harris will switch from center to left field. Harris has been swinging a hot bat and Acta said Harris deserves to play.

Entering Wednesday's action, Harris was hitting .373 with five home runs and 15 RBIs in his last 24 games.

"The way Willie is playing right now," Acta said, "it would be very tough to get him out of the lineup."

Meanwhile, Aaron Boone is slowly recovering from his left calf strain and was expected to have an MRI exam on Wednesday in San Francisco, as he has experienced continued discomfort during physical activities.

Boone, 35, suffered the injury in the eighth inning on July 6 against the Reds while jogging to first base to pinch-run for first baseman Dmitri Young.

Before the injury, Boone was a valuable reserve, hitting .258 with five home runs and 17 RBIs. The Nationals were originally hoping he would be back by Tuesday, when they played the Giants in San Francisco.

You're an awesome base stealer Lopez. Brilliant timing.

Nice double Langerhans. He is liking those doubles lately.
