Bixler is a nice SS
i'm looking forward to next year when he's not part of our organization anymore.nice guy, but not a major leaguer.anywho, chris marrero is looking pretty good over there at 1B.
Also, Dewiler might officially be a good pitcher.
Based on his one strikeout tonight?
He's a super-sub. A guy who can play every position including catcher and probably pitcher is the perfect 25th man.
and that's fine some other team can have him. he shouldn't be on next year's major league roster.
You either have a Bixler-type, or you need a Cora and 2 OF subs and a backup 3B.
Based on guys beating the ball into the ground
Bull Swine. That was outside.
lol okay
His GB/FB ratio of 1.39 this year is hardly elite. Even tonight he's just 7:5 on groundouts to flyouts. He's basically a 4.00ish ERA guy according to his peripherals this year... I wouldn't call that "good." Major league caliber, sure, keeping in mind that it's a small sample size. Worth a second look, fine.
Thank God you aren't the GM - you'd have Torii Hunter and Gary Matthews on the bench along with Jason Varitek as backup catcher and insert expensive old middle IF here. Stoneman, is that you?
How was Espy at SS?
Who gives a sheet beotch MOAR RUNS HOSERS!!!!!!!
...and I keep dreaming that Bixler will start using a shorter bat and hit .285 to become the Nats version of Brett Gardner. Dreams, yes...but then I live in NYC and when we flip channel from the Nats game, there are the Yankees...
