How the freak do they have so many two-out rallies? We can barely score when we have all three outs to work with.

Barrett wouldn't be on my major league roster, period.  Neither would Treinen.
I guess you could call up veteran crap like Rich Hill and Evan Meek from AAA but I don't know they are much better. Rizzo really screwed up this roster.

this team is straight garbage.

Overpaid/Overrated garbage.

Trade Strasburg and Harper for prospects.

Hope Rizzo learned his lesson. Max has been fine but Mike neglected the two biggest needs: offense and relief pitching. You can't really be surprised by anything we have seen so far this season.

1st   Carpenter scored, Heyward to second on wild pitch by Scherzer.
5th   Span singled to right, Espinosa scored, Scherzer to third.
6th   Adams singled to left, Heyward scored, Holliday to second.
8th   Reynolds doubled to deep right center, Holliday scored, Reynolds scored on throwing error by pitcher Barrett.
         St Louis Cardinals        4
Washington Nationals  1

Max Scherzer
All of Max's starts are dedicated to his late brother, Alex Scherzer R.I.P.

Pitchers            IP    H   R   ER   BB   SO   HR   PC-ST
Max Scherzer  7.0   6    2     2       0       4      0      82-60 & done
Mich'l Wacha  7.0   5    1     1       2       6      0      95-61 & done

Max Scherzer owes me $1,000 for each Earned Run or $2,000.

You aren't going to win a division with this ragtag group of relievers. Impossible.

Maybe they make some drastic moves like bringing up Cole and Jordan and using them in the pen.

Team is white-hot garbage.  Might finish under .500.  Who would have thought that?

Bullpen is secondary issue.  Only difference there is losing games 2-1 or 5-1.  Doesn't really matter.  What this team needs is some kind of offensive something.  Can't score.  Can't score any runs.  That puts way too much pressure on the pitching staff.

Tying run at the plate with no outs. We'll likely screw this one up somehow.
