Since the game itself is meaningless, and you do really want to let everyone play, they should implement a rule that lets each player re-enter the game once to allow for late-game injuries and maybe emergency pitching.

Nah, I'm sure once these guys are done they are DONE, doubt they'd want to go back in after sitting out 2, 3 or however many innings.

It seems kinda dull when we're left with the second rate all stars to finish out a tied game.  Maybe allowing the starters to pinch hit later in the game would be fun.

To keep you awake, Jansen allowed a hit, the base runner stole 2nd, and Jansen laughed after he balked and sent him to 3rd. Jansen then got his 3rd SO of the inning.

The ump yelling "that's a balk!"' And "hold it hold it hold it" should wake him up

Joe "Likes to Hear His Own Voice" Buck said that each team is now allowed to bring back one predesignated player that left the game. He said that it was Zach Cozart, SS from Cincinnati, for the Nationals League.

Joe West is the home plate ump. He needs to call a Balk RIGHT NOW, if he wants to be the first umpire named the game's MVP.

The All-Star game has been as even as it gets over the years.  Both teams now have a 43-43-2 record in ASG history.  Pretty incredible.

Dick Allen when he played with the White Sox.  An odd duck, but one helluva ball player...

The Allen brothers are from Western PA.     :couch:

That actually was a fun game to watch. As I expected, you don't need anything on the line, guys will play hard.

Watching Scherzer dominate the 1st was awesome. Love the grunting too.
