He’s a future reliever imho.

https://blogs.fangraphs.com/names-to-know-100-more-relevant-prospects/

Longenhagen and Taruskin at Fangraphs discussed a group of prospects outside their top 100 who folks are interested in, either because they may impact the majors this year or because the year is important in development.  Susana makes the list in a bucket of players who are interesting because they throw 97+ MPH.

Quote
Susana was the most precarious part of the Juan Soto trade return and had a mediocre strikeout performance in 2023 even though his stuff is really nasty-looking.

This seems to a make or break year for his starter aspirations. As I mentioned above, I think he's more of a future reliever.

If he can limit the walks he'll rocket up our system and the lists.

3 IP last night with 3 ER.

How long do they keep letting him try to start before accepting he may end up a reliever?

Rest assured, Rizzo will wait until its too late.

But seriously, Natsinpwc is right. We need relievers in mid-to-late 2024, and 2025. By then they should know if he is a rotation piece or not.

Lit up again tonight. 4 runs in 3.1. ERA almost up to Corbin-levels.
