What is the use bringing in a guy that is just going to walk a batter? Gotta go after the .158 hitting Matsui there, left on left matchup.

They claim that the MLB board is dead but there is more activity on an alternate board, as though they are the only fan base with more than one board.  There are almost as many Red Sox fans as Rays fans posting there.

Mattheus is NOT the guy to bring in a situation like this. He has always struggled with his command and frequently has issues throwing strikes.
