is 12 acres enough for cricket? there's a place in Alexandria . . .

“”Moving forward, the university will maintain a dialogue with all stakeholders and improve opportunities for feedback,” Washington wrote.”

Because doing it the other way didn’t work?

BIt of a double-take, today, during the Crows v Carlton game when the booth-crew stated that 'Adelaide have disruptive butts...' That'll be Crows defender Jordan Butts - won't it?... ;)

Don't miss this classic game.

The District needs a Women's Professional Hockey Team...

Where else could they play other than in Ted's building?

They located the WNBA team in a place no one sane would ever go. I do love this snippet from their website: St Elizabeths East

Good opportunity for Corbin to get back on track. I went to Rogers Centre last weekend, attended a couple of games of Jays vs Dodgers-- the Jays could barely get a hard-hit ball in each game. They have major holes in their lineup, so Corbin can take advantage of that.
prescient.

I won't be watching much lacrosse for a while.

Cmon. Root for Penn.  I saw all four teams were top 20.

Potentially only a 1 invite league. Yale is out, Cornell might sneak in if they Penn wins over Princeton.

Gonna be moving this to other sports without a thread.

I saw Penn beat number one Duke early in the season. And this was second time they beat Cornell. Go Quakers today.

Edit. Never mind. It’s tomorrow.

There just aren't a ton of at large invites. Virginia could miss the tournament. Penn State needs to beat Michigan to limit the at larges out of the B1G. Hopkins, G-town, and Denver losing complicated things for the Ivies.

There are 14 at larges into 8 slots. Penn might have a shot over Cornell based on 2 wins over them if there are 2 Ivies.

For  Yale, losing their top 2 FOGOs, who were the best in the nation when they went down, absolutely killed them when they played Princeton. They could cover against a soft stretch in April (including Albany, who's not so soft), but against a quality face off guy, they just could not get enough possessions and were vulnerable to runs. Their defense, which stunk all year, played pretty well yesterday, and the goaltender had his best game in a while.  This was a nice run with a team missing almost all of their projected starters due to injuries, other than Brandau. This will kill him for the PotY (Tewaarton Award) even though he's the top active scorer in college and 5th all time.
