houston, is it bad that I was already thinking of the excuses FP will have on hand should the offense struggle tonight? :(

haha, i don't know if he will have any ... he said last night how big of a hitters park GABP is ... there's no excuse to not score runs tonight/this weekend.

Mike Leake's ERA is 5.97. Hey, we might score 2 runs tonight.

Great American Bandbox can ruin anyone's ERA...no excuse for the Nats not putting up some runs this series.

I may not have liked Al Davis, but he got one thing right:

This is precise what I thought would happen and it didn't take a "breakout" to do it.  It just took 4 runs and a win for Davey to take the lazy route and use the same bad lineup again.

just heard Zuck on the Sports Reporters.  He said Davey's meeting yesterday was to calm everyone down, let them know he had faith in everyone, and tell the team that he wasn't going to make any rash changes or demote anyone.  Basically a big group hug.

Fortunately they responded by winning.

Having faith in a sub .200 hitter doesn't make him a .300 hitter, unfortunately.

And what sucks is that it puts Moore and Lombo in a crappy position. If Moore isn't going to play, put him down in AAA so he can at least keep his hot streak going...

I bet on the under in this game (7.5).

Feeling pretty confident :)

Did you see that little flinch thing that Bernadina just did? Espi does it to. So does Werth.

Harper *never* does that. Harper never doubts his ball/strike judgement.
