My point exactly but better said. The first time I saw him throw in 2005 I was freaked out by his unnatural throwing motion. I was shocked that a major leaguer would get to that level without fixing it. He looked like some of the Little Leaguers I coached who were learning to throw for the first time.
I'm not so sure of this. Zimmerman's problem are related to his footwork more than his funky arm angle. I believe that he'll always have some throwing issues (let's face it he doesn't have Scott Rolen's accuracy) but his range more than compensates.
