In his last start, Armas pitched seven solid innings and gave up two runs on one hit against the Astros on Saturday. The Nationals won the game, 4-2.
In a successful return off his second DL stint, Beckett beat the Giants last Saturday, giving up two runs on four hits in six innings. Showing no signs of being bothered by his left oblique strain, Beckett struck out seven and didn't issue a walk. Beckett has 96 strikeouts in 102 2/3 innings. At home, Beckett is 6-2 with a 2.65 ERA.
