I'm checking into the site off and on like a neon sign, I have some medical issues. Back pain and recovering from toe surgery. I am currently going through physical therapy in a rehab center . I had a few days where I was completely cut off from the internet. Fortunately I got back online (for now)

Arraez is post-30 Gwynn. Gwynn's best seasons by WAR came in his 20s since he was still a plus fielder and base runner then. Arraez has never been either of those things, just like Gwynn after he turned 30. But with the bat they are remarkably similar.
Arraez has had two good years of hitting.  Gwynn had like 20.  No guarantee Arraez will keep it up.

Tony Gwynn was 6.3 fWAR his first full year. 1984. Then 4.2, 6.2 and 7.4 the next three years. Arraez is not Tony Gwynn.

Garcia's emergence has made the idea of moving CJ to 2d at some point and splurging on a SS kind of moot.
We could always trade Garcia. Or teach him first. Or DH
