Scheffler might not have realized the difference. Another cop reportedly told Scheffler to drive around the accident scene, which he did.
The asshats who detained him will probably do traffic control for the rest of their careers. Especially the jackass cop who didn't like being taped by ESPN, saying "He's going to jail!"
If the PGA moves the tournament to another venue, those cops should plan on being fired. the PGA should say, "FIRE those cops or we will move this tournament elsewhere!" Thousand of people watch those matches and it brings in lottsa $$$.
