Been several great finishes this week.  Nice to finally see one. Now to stay awake for the late game.

I skipped Meneses because I remember him being a little useful last season. I can't remember how long ago Gallo was good. Do the Nats hope expect to flip Gallo and Senzel? Hopeless. Maybe Winker is hurt and maybe he will recover. Maybe.

Better to dump Robles, Nunez, Gallo, Senzel. Bring up Lipscomb, Wood, and Baker. And welcome Thomas. Let them lead the push for a wild-card spot.
Last season OPS+.

Gallo. 102
Meneses. 100

This season OPS+.

Rosario 77
Gallo 76
Meneses 70

At this point of Gallo shows some life or if Rosario picks things someone might want them in a trade. They also have soem defensive value. Meneses has no value.

Not sure you did it intentionally but not sure why most here give a pass to Meneses. He really has not hit with any authority since that end of season 2022. Just no power for a 1B/DH. OPS+ of 70. Minus 0.1 bWAR.  At least a couple of the vets have a track record of decent hitting. I think Meneses and Senzel should be the first ones to go. And Victor. No need for him with Young around.

No-hopers: Gallo, hitting .117, Senzel .200, and Robles .111. Senzel will get below .200 at his next AB.
