Anyone try the *buntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" Alpha? I burned a live CD of alpha 2 but it still looked a little too buggy for me even just as my "hobbyist" OS.
The track pad was really wonky. The pointer just sort of stayed in the middle of the screen and jumped around back and forth about 1/2" away from dead center of the screen. When I would try to move it, it would for a distance then jump back to the middle of the screen and do it's dance again
I'll wait and check out alpha 3 in a couple days.
