Looks like the stadium is very nice. However isn’t it still a nightmare to get to for most people. I 95 is just such a disaster in that area.

if you ever do go to a game, not far away is the battlefield country store, which has awesome sandwiches and ice cream, including a weekly monster ice cream special that will give you type-2 diabetes if you don't have it already.

Fredricksburg won game one behind Rutledge's gem last night. Park looked to be pretty close to capacity from the few clips I saw.  Game 2 is at Lynchburg tomorrow at 6:30 PM. Game 3, if necessary, is Friday at 2:30 PM, also at Lynchburg.

If they advance, 2nd round games are at Fredricksburg next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Before the playoffs, I went to the Fred-Nats website and clicked the game. I subscribe to MiLB, which is inexpensive and gives a subscriber every minor league game.

I suppose his name is pronounced "su-SAHN-ah," without the "z" sound, so if Lynchburg tried to razz him with the folks song, he might not even realize it was directed at him.

5-2 loss tonight as Susana got rocked. Game 3 decides it tomorrow (Friday) in Lynchburg at 2:30 with Andry Lara on the hill for the FredNats.

FredNats lose 3-0 and only posted one hit, there's no joy on I-95. Lara went 4 innings allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits with 1 walk and 3 Ks.
