The player shuffle has begun. Russ to the Steelers, Kirk to the Falcons, Saquon to the Eagles :( and Austin Ekeler to the Washington team.

With the way his holdout suddenly ended, I think the agreement was already there and they just had to wait to pretend to negotiate after the season

Eagles sign Barkley and Tiki gets all salty.  The guy who walked out on his team to sign with NBC and trashed Eli.  Who then won two Super Bowls.  And then NBC dropped Tiki.  And he went to CBS Sports radio.  Who dropped him. Now a local NY radio guy. LOL.

Someone needs to ask Tiki's ex wife about his loyalty

I was going to mention that but of course he denies he had an affair.  LOL.

Derek Henry to the Ravens.  All the RBs signing early is the CMC effect.  Copycat league.

Fields to the Steelers for a 6th round pick that could become a 4th round pick depending on Fields' performance.

Well at least we now know what the Bears are doing at #1.

Does fields start or Wilson? Either way, that’s a locker room just waiting to turn toxic

Probably Fields but I assume it will depend on what happens in camp. Wilson will be making the league minimum IIRC since the Broncos cut him.

fields only gets what Mac Jones got in trade. Seems surprising.

doesn't Pickett still start? Seems like a weird set of deals.

Pickett is the new backup in Philly. The Steelers traded him after he complained about the Wilson deal.

Looks like the Commanders got more for Howell than the Bears did for Wilson.

Wilson is not exactly a team player. I could see him getting cut if he’s the backup

depends a bit on his expectations when he signed. If he's good to be a mentor to Fields instead of Pickett and get paid, then that might be enough.

From everything that came out of Denver and Seattle, mentor and Wilson do not seem to go together

You gotta feel bad for Justin Fields here. His team no longer believes in him - fine, that happens all the time in the NFL. But the Bears attempt to trade him showed that none of the other teams believe in him either. He ends up going for a 6th round pick to be the backup to a guy who is horrifically washed up.

I think he finishes the season as a starter assuming he doesn’t win in preseason. I know the Steelers are the Steelers, but Tomlinson has to be under pressure to win and Wilson has been washed for years now

Having Wilson and Fields as their QBs almost seems like the GM is messing with Tomlin.

I didn't think Poles had the stones to unload Fields...good for him...maybe there is hope in Chicago...

If he f's the pick up though...it's curtains for him...
