Ryan Leonard was the USA player of the game in the world junior exhibition versus Canada yesterday. Two goals. They’ve kept the BC line together for the tournament as one would expect. Three first round draft picks. Leonard and Will Smith and Gabe Perrault. Flyers first pick from the prior year Cutter Gauthier had three assists. USA seems to be the tourney favorite. Starts Boxing Day. No Russia of course.

Funny, I saw that same score (final in the Canes' game on the 6th) and though, "damn, sucks to have been so right."

Looks like the team is just going to tread water for another year or two as Ovechkin keeps chasing history and either crosses the finish line or falls off a cliff. Starting to look like the latter, but hopefully he can get right.

The last several years we've only gone to Caps vs Canadian team games so that we can at least enjoy the Canadian National Anthem if not a win.

We'll be at the March 9th game only because I wanted to see Bedard in person...hope he heals up for that...

The only Caps game I have been to in a few years was early season last year against Montreal. Caps actually won.
