I wonder if I'll scream "throw inside you freaking wussy" when Richard is on the mound.

Nats hitters will likely make him look like Sandy Koufax.

hopefully the 70 year old version.

EDIT: Who am I kidding, a 70 year old Koufax would dominate this team

he'd cost way too much.  we aren't going to spend that kinda money.

Yeah. He can't play left much worse than Michael Morse.

i posted the Padres line-up, I feel a lot better about the Nats after seeing the team they are fielding.

Orlando Hudson went on the DL today for them as well.

#Padres line vs. #Nationals: Denorfia 9, Bartlett 6, Ludwick 7, Cantu 3, Maybin 8, Headley 5, Johnson 2, Gonzalez 4, Richard 1.

Woeful, Lannan is going to get crushed though :?

Cantu used to own us with Florida. But yeah the rest of the lineup looks like ours'. Pathetic series this should be.

freak this crap. Play Nix in LF, not Bixler. Matchups are lame when our depth sucks.

cantu and maybin are former fish so they'll destory us all weekend.  ludwick will add to his HR total and crush 6 bombs this series.  maybe by the 3rd inning tonight.

i'm hoping we have good john lannan tonight, but i feel like we haven't seen him in a while.

Eeyore starting tonight means we're up against it as it is - will we somehow take our first at-bats tonight without staring up at a deficit of greater than 3 runs?

Bixler in LF again.  Sigh...

But I love the way he holds the bat when he's up.

He looks like he can hit.

So that's why we keep Stares on the roster. According to Johnny Holliday Stares is the regal citizen of the team because of what he has accomplished in his career and is highly respected by players on other teams.
