As one who spends a lot of time in that state, this rain is a HUGE gift from the gods...this is peak fire season, for one thing. Hope we take the Rox to the woodshed whenever we play this thing, but this rain is A-OK.

This is unusual...afternoon t-storms coming across the front range are a daily occurrence, but a stalled moisture-laden front in August is pretty strange.

That would suck. That'd be a pain in the ass to have to travel back to Colorado some time later in the season just to play 2 games.

I was somewhat depressed to find while conducting a Google search for this photograph that there are in fact men who do their thing while looking at pictures of bikini-clad girls in snow, and who pay for access to sites of said photos. Not too surprising, I suppose, but weird as hell all the same.

As a matter of principle I have a problem with the Firstbaseman and Left Fielder batting 7th and 8th respectively in an NL lineup.
