Dempster is one of my favorites. Dude's a solid pitcher.

This team is embarrassingly inconsistent. 13 runs one day, 0 the next. I believe someone called this in the game thread yesterday.

VERY different starters. The Cubs are a solid team. They won't get beaten like that 2 days in a row.

They are overrated. I hope they lose in the first round again like last year. They (their fans) deserve it.

They should be embarrassed that our awful team has beat them 3 times already this year.

I don't share this hatred for the Cubs.  Two of my good friends are Cubs fans and are some of the most knowledgeable and objective fans I have ever met in any sport.  I would much rather have the Cubs go all the way then the likes of the Mets or Phillies (now those are some fans you can hate).

Does anyone know the Nationals head trainer?  Is he the guy with the glasses that was looking at Milledge?

That's 2 people. The majority of Cubs fans are pompous and arrogant dicks.

Nearly a 1 pitch DP for Ronnie. Wow. Why swing at the first pitch from a new pitcher entering the game?

I just used them as examples.  Of course I have had many interactions with other Cubs fans and I have never had a problem.  Not to mention, their fans who happen to be women have some of the highest baseball IQs.  I can think of at least teams whose fans are worse than the Cubs, but then again its more of an opinion than anything.

The majority of the people that go to the games just go to drink and socialize. They could care less about the game on the field.

Same could be said about most other teams. The majority of sports fans are dicks. That's just the way it is. You just won't hear someone say that a crappy team like the Nats or the Royals have "pompous and arrogant dicks" as fans because a) not enough people go to their games, and b) no one gives a crap about crappy teams' fans.

Wrigley Field HR. He gets jammed and the ball goes out to RF. Would have been a can of corn at Nationals Park.

Like I was alluding to, as well, a lot of these judgements are based off of personal experiences.

What? The majority of sports fans are dicks?

The fact is that the Cubs' fans think they are the crap even though they are one of the worst baseball franchises in the game. No Championship in 100 years. That is beyond pathetic. And despite that their piece of crap fans think their team is actually worth a damn when in fact it is not.

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Odalis sucks, he always has some sort of "injury"?

Perez needs to go. He has no future with this team and I'm sure we'd all rather see a younger player struggle, instead of Perez a vet with no upside. If we put say Clippard we can see what we have for next year. ETC.
