That's Nats Baseball!  When all is safe and secure...when the day seems all but won - the Nationals will find that one chance in a million to freak it all up.

We're going to need a reliever to step up and give us 3 innings. Thought it would be Estrada but he couldn't do it. Hopefully Mock can put out the fire and then hold them down for a while. If not, we're in deep crap.

Estrada has showed some promise during his call up, but I think he still needs another season in the minors before he is ready.  His control is definitely his biggest issue, but if he were able to get that settled at AA or AAA, he might still have a future as a starter.

I agree with that. He went through the system pretty quickly and will probably start next year in Columbus. Wonder if they'll have him in a starter or reliever role.

don't forget frontrunners!   :D

and whippersnappers!

And when you think about it, it's kind of funny/dumb to call out the very people who are always here, no matter what, suffering through the losing streaks night in and night out.  :?

If they score another run this inning I just might turn the game off in frustration.

New show is debuting on Fox tonight called 'Fringe' produced by the creators of 'Lost'. Taping it now. Can't wait to watch it.

Potomac-Myrtle:  Osvaldo Rodriguez is struggling with control in the fifth, walking two batters.  Everything is clicking for the Pelicans tonight and nothing is for the P-Nats.  Luckily, Ozzie is able to follow up with two strikeouts to close out the inning, with the P-Nats begging for some runs.

Due Up:  Lefave, Brown, Plasencia

Never heard of Fringe, what is the premise?  I do love lost and would give it a watch just for that reason, even though I absolutely hated Cloverfield.

Thank God Mock gotta out that mess of an inning.

Yeah, Lost is the best show EVER.

From wikipedia on Fringe:
Quote
Fringe is the fourth TV series co-created by J. J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias, Lost) and also his fourth collaboration with co-creators Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Alias, Mission Impossible III, Star Trek). It is produced by Bad Robot in association with Warner Bros. Television. The plot deals with a research scientist named Walter Bishop (who Orci describes as "Frankenstein mixed with Albert Einstein"), his son, and a female FBI agent who brings them back together. The show is described as a cross between The X-Files, Altered States, and The Twilight Zone.[1][2] Like Abrams' previous TV shows, it will have an overarching mythology.

At least.

Lead-off walk for Willie. It might take 15 to win this one.

Man what a crazy game thus far.  Good to see we got great pitching through the first four innings.  Oops.  But the bats have stayed hot.  Man oh man, imagine a lineup of:

Guzman, Zimmerman, Johnson, Big Bat outfielder, Dukes, Milledge, Flores, Emilio.  That's pretty darn good (or get a big bat first baseman and settle for Kearns)

As far as tv shows ... my favorite recently:

How I Met Your Mother, Entourage, Californiacation, 24, and Life (the lead red head from band of brothers).

FWIW, I didn't mind Cloverfield.

Mock should be the long reliever, hes got some good stuff hopefully he sinks into that position.

Favorite Tv shows: The Wire and Band of Brothers both over though. Currently: Lost, Entourage and 24

I will be gone for four months, hopefully I can figure out how to get internet where I am going (Africa and Central Europe) but there are no guarantees there.  At the very least, I will be able to check in at internet cafes (gotta know what is going on in the instructional leagues/AFL).

So, you're going to Nigeria, to collect a HUGE amount of money (because someone died and they need a complete stranger from another country to bring them thousands of dollars for "expenses," before they pay you?  I just got an email today from a relative in Romania.

Both teams forgot to bring pitching tonight.  CRAP, I had Oliver Perez, everyone's favorite pitcher, on my WNFF Fantasy team tonight.

Nationales 7
Melts 7

I pretty much stick to Fox shows except for Lost.

My top 6:
1. Lost
2. Prison Break
3. 24
4. Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
5. House
6. Bones

Damn, forgot about The Office. That's one of my favorites too.

THANK YOU! Friday Night Lights is so underrated. Own Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD (always forget to watch) and love the show. The cliff-hangers are brutal.
