Don't know why they didn't go back to the curve ball to Delgado there.

Fernando Tatis has the exact same statistical line as Zimmerman this year.

another poor pitch. I don't freaking get it. Too ABs in a row Lannan has had the hitter down 0-2 only to let him get a hit.

The pitch selection is very poor.

That's 3 straight batters he has had down 0-2.

Yeah Lannan doesn't have a putaway pitch, unless his curveball is really working like in his start at Colorado.

I am leaving the country tomorrow for quite some time.  This should be my last Nats game for awhile, unless I can figure out a way to get internet where I am going.  Hopefully they can do something tonight and make it a good game, because I would hate to have to dwell on a ****ty loss for seven months.
Hey JMU, you're really going to be gone for seven months? That's really unfortunate news. We'll miss you, sir. We'll miss you a very great deal. I hope you'll come back to a successful team, though.

We will all still be here. And maybe BBQ will take up the minor-league beat  :icon_mrgreen:

horrific pitch. That's game.

The pitch selection this inning makes no damn sense. Why not try to bury him with change-ups or breaking balls after getting him down 0-2? Damn, this team is freaking stupid. They want that #1 pick, no doubt about it.

St. Claire is expendable as far as I'm concerned.

I will be gone for four months, hopefully I can figure out how to get internet where I am going (Africa and Central Europe) but there are no guarantees there.  At the very least, I will be able to check in at internet cafes (gotta know what is going on in the instructional leagues/AFL).  The seven months was more in reference until the start of the season in March/April.

Wait a minute. Earlier in the season you insisted that Flores should be credited with calling great games but when something like this happens you blame the pitching coach? How about ripping Lannan for leaving one on a tee.

Potomac-Myrtle (Bottom of 2nd):  Jeff Mandel is on the mound tonight for the P-Nats, he was a 19th round selection last year out of Baylor University, where he participated in the CWS.  He let the first two batters on and then gave up the deep ball to Jones (as previously mentioned).  I can't see Mandel pitching, as I am listening to the game online, but I would imagine that he looks like crap right now (he lets two more batters on base).  Mandel strikes out Hernandez for a second time to get out #2.  Luckily, Mandel is able to get the final batter to fly out and strands the two batters left on base.

Potomac 0, Pelicans 3

Guzman with yard work to tie it up!

He knew it was gone when he hit it, but it looked like he stopped his celebration halfway in fear that it would go foul.

Is Hernandez a viable option for next year's 2B job? He's hitting REALLY well and showed great disipline on Sunday and so far today.
