That didn't look like a strike.

Nope. Just logged back on.

Shell is getting better but let's see him do it over whole season(s) like Rivera has before we anoint him king.

Well I'm not anointing Shell, but I'm just making the point that it's possible to spend a long time in the minors and become a successful major leaguer.

I have Zimmerman, Milledge, and Dukes starting for me in the divisional round of my fantasy baseball playoffs.  This is huge.

Milledge had problems off the field problems in HS, Bob, but since then he's been fine.

bs strike call. This ump better give Lannan a huge K zone like he did with Perez in the first inning.

Is anyone else having some issues with sound?  For me it's incredibly low, and if you turn it up, you can barely tell that not only can you hear the nats announcers, but I'm hearing the O's game too.  wtf

It looked like it pained that jerk just to call the 1-0 pitch to Church right down the middle a strike.

I am leaving the country tomorrow for quite some time.  This should be my last Nats game for awhile, unless I can figure out a way to get internet where I am going.  Hopefully they can do something tonight and make it a good game, because I would hate to have to dwell on a crappy loss for seven months.

Damn the DP would've been nice there. Don't want runners on for the heart of their order.
