Please no DPs.

Make them pay, Aaron Boone!
SOB. Why didn't he swing at the 1-0 BP fastball right down the middle? He could have hit that one out of the park. Instead he swings at the ball right on his hands.

That's definitely going to come back to bite us.

Come on Estrada. 8-9-1 due up. Get off to a good start.

Potomac-Myrtle:  Mandel got knocked out of the game after letting up 6 R (4 ER) in 3.2 IP.  Ozzie Rodriguez is in to pitch, with the score 6-0 Pelicans.  The P-Nats are getting mowed down at the plate right now.  Not much else to note currently besides Potomac is getting their ass kicked.

Estrada actually looks decent for once. Then again, I'm sure Argenis Reyes could make a batting tee look like Cy Young.

crap. So much bad pitching tonight. You just can't throw the ball right down the middle to these hitters and expect to get them out like you could with Atlanta and LA. You have to make good pitches.

We're going to need a reliever to step up and give us 3 innings. Thought it would be Estrada but he couldn't do it. Hopefully Mock can put out the fire and then hold them down for a while. If not, we're in deep crap.

This is frustrating. Boone killed our offense last inning. Having said that, I prefer to watch a game like this when we're scoring but not pitching than to lose a game where we pitch well and lose 2-0.

Yep, Boone killed the momentum a little. I agree, this is better than losing 2-0 or 1-0.

Down to a 1-run lead. freak. Should have moved the infield in.

I can't believe we didn't have a shot to throw out Schneider there.

Sickening. I've never seen such poor pitching tonight in my life (both teams).

So many pitches left right down the middle or on the inner half.

No way we win this offensive duel. They got more firepower than we do.
