Wait a minute. Earlier in the season you insisted that Flores should be credited with calling great games but when something like this happens you blame the pitching coach? How about ripping Lannan for leaving one on a tee.
It's not just just because of this inning but I just don't think St. Claire is as godly as some people make him out to be. He's not the worst pitching coach in the world but I think we can do better.

It's always the fault of our coaches when individuals make stupid gaffes.

It seems like Perez is leaving a lot of balls hanging for the Nationals, but they just aren't making direct contact.  I would guess that he has nice late movement on his ball.

I don't overvalue coaches anyway. It's about the talent between the lines.

It almost feels like the season is over. I've noticed that more and more threads are popping up that are not about baseball. I'm sure some people are loving that.  :?

The players are mainly to blame but to say the coaching staff has no impact is not right.

I'm sure some will re-join the board now that the season is ending.

Potomac-Myrtle (Top of 3rd):  Boomer Whiting strikes out to start the inning off.  Lyons then hits a blooper to centerfield for the first single of the game for the P-Nats.  Michael Martinez follows suit by drilling one up the middle of the field to put P-Nats runners on 1st and 2nd.  Unfortunately, Andrew Lefave ruins it all with a double play.

Coaches can only suggest. It's up to the player to execute if they have the talent. Otherwise, the league would be full of studs.

I have to admit I'm already paying more attention to football, but I do want to see us spoil spoil spoil this month.

I knew it was just a matter of time before AZ, er, tomterp showed up to show off his Church wood.

GO JUMP OFF A CLIFF BOB CARPENTER YOU STUPID ASS!

First he said David Wright hit the shot to right-center when in fact it was Beltran and then he said it will be an RBI even though Wright was out by a mile at home.

   Carpenter thought that was going to be an easy run also.

Lannan has been infected with the beachball virus. They're starting their own version of the Beach Boys. Too bad I don't have photoshop skills.  :?

horrific pitch. Same pitch he hit out on Sunday Night Baseball against Hamels. Does anyone on this team watch video tape?

If you are going to throw him a curve, put it in the freaking dirt.

I can't believe how bad and unclutch he has pitched tonight. Way, way too many mistakes in crucial situations. The pitch location/selection tonight has been the worst I've seen all year.

No matter what people around here say, whether they insist Lannan is a better man than  they are, I don't think Lannan is much more than a number 3.

This ump has been ghastly towards Lannan. Still no excuse though.
