I am amazed at how hard Dukes hits the ball.

It's all about his step. What I've been noticing is that he breathes better - that's right, breathes better - during his ABs now, and his step is perfect more often than not. He's just looked a lot more comfortable up there since that bad start he had. It's good to see.

i wonder how long hernandez can keep this up. i give him 1 more week before he falls into oblivion

at least our lineup has Zimm at .270, Milledge at .260, Flores at .260, Belliard at .280, and Dukes inching towards .280.

I can accept all of those averages as long as ONE of them becomes a great run producer for us.

I dunno.

His age and this season might make him leave. I think he will.

Nice job by Shell getting out of that one. He always seems to do that. We need a walk-off NOW.

Steven Shell poised for his first win now, if we can get a walk off in the bottom of the 10th.

Nunez hasn't given up a homer yet this season. He's due.

Nice job getting on by Hernandez. I'd choose to bunt here, but Manny would never do that.

Alright, we HAVE to win now, right? Bunt or a hit to right side would be nice here.

just a simple fly ball, Lastings. all we need is a fly  ball to the outfield.

nothing fancy.

crap! Alright, I trust Belliard in this situation right now. This is when it's nice to have vets on your team.

smart play by hernandez.  he would have been TOAST.

that ball wasn't hit far or high enough.

Chance to be a hero here for Dukes. A walk works.

I don't know if he would've made it, but the center fielder didn't take a very good angle to that ball. Would have been close, I think.
