we do have the beginnings of what could be a very nice young nucleus.

Zimmerman, Dukes, Milledge, Flores, Lannan, Bonifacio(??)

they are going to struggle much like they did this year, but their development should be very fun to watch anyway.

Manning gives up a Home Run to Jones.

cue the obligatory "Fire Manny" chorus for leaving a lefty in to face a switch-hitter and the lefty behind him.

The offensive juggernats continue to get it done. We may need to bump the "we have offense" thread.

Not a bad idea. We don't get a chance to bump old positive threads very often.

We definitely wanted Chipper batting righty, though. He had only hit 3 homers off of lefties before that one.

We'll also get back Nick Johnson When Healthy and Wily Mo Pena With Excuses and Austin Kearns With Excuses, if Bowden remains the GM

what the f***...do they ever WASH the Screech Costume?

The LERNERS?  It won't fit in a mini-washer.
They should have Skeet-Shooting-Screech-Shooting Sunday and Screech should be shot.

I talked to a couple of the chicks on the Nat Pack and they told me that they NEVER wash that thing. They said that the costume stinks mostly because the guy inside has to use the bathroom wearing the thing during games.

I noticed that too...that was ridiculous.  If that thing got around my child I'd pull him away from it!

i wonder how long hernandez can keep this up. i give him 1 more week before he falls into oblivion

at least our lineup has Zimm at .270, Milledge at .260, Flores at .260, Belliard at .280, and Dukes inching towards .280.
