Can we have the ignore button back or will that take 743 hours of work again?

What kinda wuss needs an ignore button? Does reading something from someone you don't like burn your eyes, ruin your day, what? You can't just roll your eyes and keep on scrolling or just not open the thread? None of this matters in the greater scheme of things.  ;)

I didn't think I'd use it, but here lately some posters have been getting tiring to read everyday (not directed at sf in particular)

I have enhanced the ignore feature a bit - posts by ignored users are now ENTIRELY hidden from view.  Meaning you won't even know they posted at all...  no "show" button, no "unignore" button, no name, avatar, nothing.  You'll have to edit your "profile > ignore user options" list if you wish to take someone off of ignore.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who still viewed every ignored post.

It's a sickness I tell ya.

Nice, good move.  It will make game threads much more peaceful.   ;)

Does this apply to quotes too?  If someone quotes the ignored, will I still see it?

Unfortunately no, but I'm working on that.
