Why oh why, Lannan is always nasty but our offense flops over

Because Lannan is nasty and our offense blows.

Carpenter just jinxed Lannan's bid for a no hitter! He does that all the time.
You just said it.
Saying you-know-what isn't the same.

He has way too many pitches. He needs to get some 1 pitch outs, to stay in the game. you-know-who would make it really hard to yank him.
Voldemort?

crap, if Lannan is facing history, how do you leave him in with 120 pitches? I don't think you can.

He is at least two innings of work away from 120 pitches.  If anything, Manny won't let him pitch over 100, hence him only getting through the 6th.  He has faced a total of 14 batters after pitching at least 100 pitches.  I say let him go a little longer and see where his breaking point is.

Nice snag by Hall, good thing he didn't have time for the throw.

Kearns missed a very hittable hanging slider.

Yet another example of Kearns pissing away an opportunity to move runners.  The ratio of him making good plays to him making bad plays is impossible to ignore.
