The Brewers have had countless opps to win it while we've had very few.

And another walk. 13 walks. St. Claire is a pitching god! He preaches walks.  :worship:

Manning is not even part of the youth movement.

I still am. and I am hoping that we get younger in september.

but I'm not deluded enough to think that this team is going to torch the world or anything.

That's how I feel, too. It's good that we got rid of vets that won't be here next season, but in no way was I expecting us to get better.

I think our luck is bound to run out.
We don't deserve to win this, giving up 13 walks.

I've noticed that our fans rarely boo the opposing pitchers when they attempt pickoffs. They really should. Whatever we can do to get in the pitcher's head.

Our fans don't know what a pickoff attempt looks like. They think pickoffs are balks.

yep, cause St. Claire is the one not throwing strikes.

damn, you just can't blame the players for anything they SHOULD be blamed for, can you?

you are the first one to blame the players for crap they shouldn't be blamed for, but when they do genuinely do some sucky crap, you want to throw the blame on the Managers and coaches.

Manning seems to be allergic to the strike zone. He should've been gone yesterday.

only spot start, because of Double Header.

very much so.

but if we fire St. Claire right now, those 13 walks will magically transform into 13 strikeouts.

I think because of the doubleheader on Thursday he will have a spot start.

If you can guarantee that in writing I'm all for firing him.

pretty much.  i have never seen such poor officiating.  and i actually like the brewers (obviously not as much as the nats), they have been given so many chances.

The Brewers freaking blow. A real team would have won this game 5 times already.

If you think about it, that actually makes more sense than a backdoor breaking ball.
