Yeah thanks a lot Preston.  Can't hit anything for us but you can knock them out of the juicebox

Well I'd say this game's pretty much over.  Not trying to be pessimistic but with the way our offense has been, there's no reason to get my hopes up.

I can agree with that sentiment.

I guess we should hold tickets sales on next weeks big event:

Pedro vs. Guillen: Superfight III

It's too bad they can't arrange a boxing match for those two.

Doesn't the team realize that when they suffer, I suffer too?

Wilson hits a two run homer.  Get Bergmann out of there.

This is the first time I've really seen Bergmann pitch.  To say that I'm not impressed would be an understatement.  I do feel bad for the guy though, he looks pretty uncomfortable out there.

When was the last time the Nats got a break?  It seems like it's been downhill ever since the first day of ST with Lawrence getting hurt.  Heck, I guess it goes back to the offseason with the stadium issues.  We have so much bad karma right now, it's overbearing.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but then that would mean that Astacio is still on our team?

Bergmann's night was a bad night. that's all.  Berg is normally pretty solid for us.  IO wouldn't send him down just based on tonight.

i'd send Astacio packing though.

The WBC probably hurt us more than any other team.  Losing Ayala was bad enough, but BS #23 is a MESS at the plate and Majewski still is scuffling.  I'm salty right now.

WBC rant cont.......

And then Soriano does not play so he does not practice LF, and apparently Armas pitched so little that he can't go past 5 innings.

The best thing that happened was Vidro not playing in the WBC.  Is it a coincidence that he is our best player right now?  I think not.

At least the Phillies are 0-4 (all at home).  I'm reduced to rooting against Atlanta tonight on TBS to salvage this mess.

Jeez what happened to Zimmerman all of a sudden?  He's swinging at anything (and missing!)

He's a rookie who has been rushed from College to the Majors in less than a Year, and has a World of Hype on his shoulders. He's practically been given the Rookie-of-The-Year trophy already by the Nats Fanbase, and the Nats Front Office. this sort of thing should be expected from him, especially with all the Hype and pressure.

he'll get it together, we'll just bear with him until he does.

as long as he keeps up the glove work at third, he'll be fine.

the more ABs he gets, the more he sees the NL pitching, the more he'll put it together.

in the long run, he's gonna be a star. let him take his lumps now, while it is still early.

Am I the only one that notices that his stance is changing with every pitch.  He seems more open than he was on opening day and when I saw him in spring training.  His feet are in a different position each pitch.  Somebody help him.

We have one hitter going right now - Vidro.

I remember last year that Darling seemed to get frustrated in the booth, and now already this year Paciorek seems beside himself with our poor approach at the plate.
