Is this the first time our '09 middle infielders have started together?

Yep. Before this Gonzalez was starting.

I think so, I was at EB's first game and Gonzalez started that one too

If the Rockies had some better pitching, they could have a damn good team. I like their offense. They do need a new catcher, though.

I wish that Gonzalez would be starting and we had traded Guzman.

Holliday is one tough dude to pitch to. I don't really mind the walk.

Not expected to miss his start in Milwaukee.... yeah right, the way this team evaluates injuries, I wouldn't be surprised if his career was over.

Yeah, Redding.  He was hit by a line drive on the leg, apparently.

I've never seen an outfielder trap a ball on the outfield wall or catch it off of the wall. I guess the latter would be damn tough to do.

I haven't been to enough games or been in the situation to know the answer, but for doubleheaders do you need a ticket for both games?  Or can you buy a ticket for the first one and hang around for the second?  I can see how this might not be possible, but how do they ensure that you leave the stadium b/w games?

not to pat my boy on the back, but it's real tough to track down down fly balls in colorado especially with the sun.  hopefully it doesn't give our guys trouble today.

ah at least it's not an arm problem.  I still wish we would have traded him before the deadline.
